BALL JOINTED REAR DAMPER LINK
The standard damper link is attached to the trailing arm which provides the ‘up & down’ or bump and rebound input to the lever arm of the damper. The standard link’s joint to the damper arm moves by twisting a solid rubber bush. Not very efficient and decidedly ‘old school’.
Ball joints move easily with no lost motion enabling the damper to work much more effectively and efficiently, controlling the suspension more precisely and thus improving the ride and roadholding.
The 2023 version is a heavier duty item and has polyurethane ‘washers’ as standard
These combine very well with our ADJUSTABLE DAMPER VALVES to make the rear standard lever arm damper an Adjustable lever arm damper.
